Choose and manage your subscription
When to use this
Use this page when you are starting a BloomBoard subscription or reviewing how your current plan works.
What the plan covers
BloomBoard’s billing system is built around subscription access. The documented plans include monthly and annual billing, with team seats included in the base subscription.
What to expect when you subscribe
- checkout is handled through the billing provider
- a successful subscription activates account access
- billing state then determines whether the account stays active, enters grace period, or expires
Upgrade from Core to Studio
If you are on the Core plan, you can move to Studio from inside the app:
- Go to Settings → Plan & billing.
- In the Upgrade to Studio card, select Upgrade to Studio.
- Review the prorated amount due today and the new Studio price, then select Confirm upgrade.
The change applies immediately. You are charged a prorated amount that covers Studio for the rest of your current billing period, using the payment method on file, and your billing date stays the same. From your next renewal you pay the Studio price.
Only account admins and owners can upgrade. If your subscription is scheduled to cancel, resume it first.
Who can see what on Plan & billing
- The account owner sees everything, including saved payment methods and billing history.
- Admins can manage the subscription itself (upgrade, cancel, resume), but payment methods and billing history are visible to the owner only.
- Staff can view the plan overview but cannot make billing changes.
If you need an invoice and you are not the owner, ask the account owner to download it for you.
Why this matters
Subscription state is not just a billing record. It directly affects whether the account can continue using the product.
If you are a returning user and access looks different than expected, check the current subscription state before assuming your account data is gone.
