Your brand kit and colors

When to use this

Use this page when you’re setting up how your studio looks — your logo, your colors, and the website line on your documents — or when a color doesn’t look the way you expected on a client page.

The brand kit lives at Settings → Branding, on the Brand kit tab. It applies to your rendered documents on every plan; the client-facing pages and emails pick it up when custom branding is on.

The three color roles

Each color has one job, so you always know where a change will show up:

  • Accent — headings, buttons, dividers, and signature lines. This is the color your clients will associate with you; it’s also the color of the “Accept & sign” and “Pay now” buttons on your client pages.
  • Background — the canvas behind your client pages and email headers. Usually a soft, light tone.
  • Ink — the text color that sits on that background. Usually a near-black.

Pick a preset or enter a 6-digit hex value for each.

The legibility check

Some combinations look great on a moodboard and unreadable in an email. When your accent, background, and ink don’t have enough contrast between them, the page shows a warning with a suggested adjustment pinned next to it.

  • Apply the suggestion to use a nearby shade that keeps your look and stays readable.
  • Or choose Use my colors anyway — your choice is remembered and the warning stands down for that exact combination.

The warning is about your clients being able to read what you send. If a client mentions that a button or heading is hard to see, this is the first place to check.

Upload your logo once and it flows everywhere it belongs: document headers, branded client pages, and the email header (if you choose the logo header style). A crisp PNG or SVG with a transparent background works best.

Fonts are a document setting, not a brand-kit one

Your custom fonts apply to your designed documents — see Use your own fonts. Emails deliberately don’t use them: email apps only render a small set of built-in typefaces, so your emails use safe fonts with your colors instead. That keeps every email readable in every inbox.

Business website

The website field appears in the footer of every rendered document, next to your studio name. It’s also used to suggest a subdomain when you connect your own domain.
