Arrangement groups

Groups organise the arrangements on your proposals into the sections your client reads — Ceremony, Reception, Personal Flowers, and any others you create. Every group belongs to your whole account, so the same group names are available on every event.

When to use this

Use groups when you want a proposal to read the way the day unfolds, with each arrangement filed under the part of the event it belongs to. Arrangements without a group appear together under “Ungrouped”.

Move an arrangement into a group

From the proposal page:

1. Hover over the arrangement’s row and select the … button next to the pencil. On a phone it is always visible.
2. Choose Move to group…
3. Pick any of your groups — including ones not yet used on this event — or choose No group to ungroup the arrangement.

You can also drag arrangements between the groups already showing on the page, or set the group inside the arrangement editor’s Details card.

Create a group on the spot

Choose New group… at the bottom of the picker, type the name, and press Enter. The group is created and the arrangement moves into it in one step. The quick-add card’s Group field offers the same New group… option, so you can create your first group while adding your first arrangement.

A group with no arrangements does not appear on the proposal page — it shows up as soon as it has its first member.

Rename a group

Click a group’s heading on the proposal page and type the new name. Enter saves, Escape cancels. You can also rename in Manage groups (on the proposal page toolbar, the arrangements list, or Settings → Arrangement groups).

Because groups are shared across your whole account, renaming one updates every event that uses it. Before saving, BloomBoard checks how far the rename reaches:

• If other events use the group, you’ll see a quick confirmation naming how many, so a rename never travels further than you expect.
• Proposals you have already sent are never affected. A sent proposal keeps the exact group names it was sent with, on the client page and the PDF.
• Unsent drafts on other events pick up the new name, since drafts always show your latest arrangement data.

“Ungrouped” is not a real group — it is where arrangements without a group live — so it cannot be renamed, and a new group cannot take that name.

Reorder or delete groups

Open Manage groups to drag groups into the order your proposals should show, create new ones, or delete a group. A group still holding arrangements or templates cannot be deleted — move those out first. The starter groups that come with your account cannot be deleted, only renamed.

Group names in the template studio

In the template studio, group titles come from your arrangements rather than being edited on the canvas. Click a group title there and a note explains this, with an Open Proposal page link that takes you straight back to where the names are managed.

What to check if something feels wrong

• A group is missing from the proposal page — it has no arrangements on this event yet. Move an arrangement into it and the section appears.
• A sent proposal shows an old group name — that is by design: sent proposals are frozen records. Create a revision if you want the client to see the new name.
• You can’t delete a group — confirm no arrangements (on any event) or templates still use it.
