Make drafts sound like you with Brand voice
When to use this
BloomBoard drafts text for you in a few places: event vibes, Smart Fill visions, and arrangement descriptions. Brand voice teaches those drafts your studio’s way with words, so what lands on a proposal reads like you wrote it, not like a generic flower shop. Set it up once in Settings, then adjust it whenever your style shifts.
Your voice changes how drafts are worded. It never changes facts: flowers, counts, prices, dates, and what your client asked for always come first.
What you need first
Nothing, strictly. But the fastest start is writing you already have: your website, an old proposal, or a few paragraphs you are proud of. If you added your website during sign-up, BloomBoard has usually read it already and built you a starting voice.
Set it up
- Go to Settings → Brand voice.
- Pick a starting point:
- Add writing reads what you already have. Paste a few paragraphs, point it at your website, or drop a file (PDF, Word, or text — old proposals work well). BloomBoard suggests a profile from it.
- Or pick one of the four presets and make it yours.
- Or fill the form by hand.
- Suggestions never save themselves. They appear in the form with a review bar at the top: look them over, adjust anything, then Keep or Discard. If you wander off to another page before deciding, nothing is lost — the suggestions are waiting, exactly as you left them, when you come back.
- Turn the voice on with the switch. From then on, every new draft follows your profile.
The profile is short on purpose: how you sound in a sentence or two, a tone pick per pair, words you love, words you avoid, “say this, not that” pairs, up to five writing samples, and any rules you always want followed. Words you avoid and swaps are yours to type — BloomBoard never guesses what you would not say.
What happens next
- The preview on the right shows one of your real arrangements described in your voice. “See it without your voice” shows the same text plain, so you can see exactly what the voice changes.
- View your style guide opens the exact text that travels with every draft request. It is built word for word from your profile and updates every time you save.
- New drafts follow your voice from the next thing you generate. Text that already exists is never rewritten: saved vibes, sent proposals, and sealed documents stay exactly as they are.
- If you added your website at sign-up, your first drafted vibe carries a one-time note telling you the voice came from your website, with a shortcut to adjust it.
Common questions
- Who can edit this: anyone on the account can view the page; changing the voice is for admins and owners. Staff see the settings read-only.
- Turning it off: flip the switch on the Brand voice page. Drafts go back to sounding the way they did before, immediately.
- A suggestion got something wrong: everything on the page is editable. Your words always win; nothing is locked in by a suggestion.
- A word you banned keeps mattering to you in one draft: edit the draft itself. Your edits always outrank the voice.
