What’s new: August 2026

The changes we announced in our product updates in August 2026, newest first. Each section is dated with the day the update went out.

28 August 2026

  • Canva designs in your proposals. Connect your Canva account under Settings, Canva, then open the Images panel in the design editor and use its Canva tab. A design stays linked, so a change in Canva comes through. Every plan. See Canva import.
  • Golden Hour, the first landscape template, on the Studio plan.
  • A reworked design editor. Click anything for one toolbar, right-click for the rest, zoom and pan from the top bar. Share runs the checks first. Your own pages can show the document header and footer.
  • Design presets without an event, under Library, Design presets.
  • Brand voice. Give BloomBoard some of your own writing and its drafts read like you. See Brand voice.
  • Smaller changes: prices live with the event (change a flower’s cost once and every arrangement in the event follows); drag a photo onto a page; the enquiry form can require a budget and a phone number and set a minimum spend; export packs include one order list across suppliers; arrangement templates are in the sidebar under Library; recipe quantities can be fractions; a supplier’s order list copies as plain text; the group “Bridal Retinue” is now “Personal Flowers”.

  • Custom branding on the Studio plan: your logo and three colors on proposal pages, briefs and emails, emails from your studio’s name, and link previews with your name and image. See Custom branding.
  • Your own web address for the links you send, such as proposals.your-studio.com. See Connect your own domain.
  • Planner commission your client never sees, set in the event’s pricing rules. See Planner commission.
  • Smaller changes: client briefs ask for the client’s email first; a reopened brief keeps every version the client sent; download a sent or signed proposal’s PDF from the event menu; coordinators have a directory of their own; Core studios can upgrade inside BloomBoard.

  • Draw on your own pages: lines, arrows and shapes in your theme’s colors, with align, group and lock.
  • Put a page anywhere in the proposal, including between arrangement pages.
  • Know the moment an enquiry lands: a new enquiry from your link rings the bell for the whole team, sends you an email and shows above your event cards.
  • Rentals in a recipe or on their own line: one in a recipe is priced into that arrangement; one in the Rentals section bills as its own line.
  • Smaller changes: search the whole events board; hide the cover page; export a complete copy of your workspace; download the draft PDF from the preview; long proposals break across pages more reliably.
