What’s new: September 2026
The changes we announced in our product updates in September 2026, newest first. Each section is dated with the day the update went out.
24 September 2026
- An Inbox like your email app: folders (Inbox, Awaiting reply, Archived and Needs review), replies in place with Cc and formatting, pictures you paste into a message, and a Compose window that stays with you. Your signature can be the one from your usual email app. See Your Inbox.
- Bring your terms in with one paste: paste or upload the terms you send today and choose Format my terms for a draft with headings and fields, in your own wording. Set terms as your default so every new proposal starts with them. The proposal links to your client’s own terms page instead of printing the terms. See Bring in your existing terms.
- Fonts in pairs: the Fonts panel starts with display, heading and body pairings you try with a hover, and brand fonts upload in three short steps.
- Smaller changes: delete an arrangement from its row, with Undo for five seconds; a photo moved to Trash leaves every moodboard; a client contact can be marked Partner; Finances is now called Analytics; Settings is now two places, Business (what your clients see) and Settings (your account, plan and connected apps).

- Your clients can pay you online from the invoice page, by card (through Stripe, or Yoco in South Africa) or by bank transfer, on every plan. A card payment records itself on the invoice. BloomBoard takes no fee. See Set up online payments.
- Send an invoice the way you send a proposal: one Send screen to email it, copy its payment link with a QR code, or download the PDF.
- Your own names for the occasions on your enquiry form.
- Smaller changes: a custom number of days before a proposal expires; Settings search with the / key; venue search looks near your business first; editable numbers on the proposal board have a dashed underline; a Google sign-in sets your avatar; library items open in a wider drawer; a signed copy that cannot be emailed now tells you.
6 September 2026
- Change what your brief asks: reword, reorder, hide or add questions for each event type. See Customize your client brief.
- Saved services and costs: save the lines you add to most quotes, then choose Add from saved. See Build a proposal.
- A Week-of link for each person on your team, with checklists they can tick. See Plan the week of the event.
- Duplicate an event from the menu on its card, and see which days already have an event in the date picker.
- Smaller changes: recolor the text on your proposal; move an arrangement to another group from its row; invoices have their own settings page with your bank details; pass the card fee on to clients who pay by card; prices use your currency symbol and your own tax name, such as GST or VAT.
